Can you restore the missing digits?
 

The archeologist is examining a completed problem in
long division, engraved on a sandstone boulder.  Due
to weathering of the rock, most of the figures are no
longer legible.  Fortunately, the eight legible digits
provide enough information to enable you to supple the
missing figures.

It really looks as if there should be scores of correct
answers, yet so far as I am aware, only one satisfactory
restoration of the problem has been suggested.
