Giethoorn, a village
in the Dutch province of Overijssel,
is an international
tourist attraction in the Netherlands.
In the old part of
the village, there were no roads and
all transport was
done by water. Now there is a cycling path.
Using an electric
powered boat, you can explore the area at
your own pace.
Depending upon the size of the boat it can
take up to a maximum
of 8 adults. The boats are driven by
electric engine which
is fed with 2 big batteries, and
allows up to 7 hours
continuous drive through the area.
